Which payment methods does CupcakeDropoff.com accept? We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and CupcakeDropoff.com Gift Cards. Credit card account will be charged when order is placed.
When do I need to place my order? We ask that all orders be placed 48 hours in advance. However, you can call us upto 2pm the day before you would like delivery and we may be able to accommodate you.
Can I place my order over the phone? Yes! Please call us at 202-779-5300 to place your order over the phone. Our office business hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. If you receive our voice mail, please leave a message and we will respond as soon as possible.
Is there any way to schedule a delivery for today? We bake each order as they are requested, so sadly we cannot accomodate same day order requests.
Can those with nut allergies or other food allergies eat CupcakeDropoff.com cupcakes? All of our baked goods are made in the same bakery. Though nuts are not a part of every recipe, trace amounts of nuts or nut oils can be in any of our desserts. We recommend those with nut allergies refrain from eating our products. We use eggs, butter, cream and flour in our baked goods and currently do not have any gluten or sugar free products.
Delivery Area? Washington DC, Severn, Hanover, Odenton, Montgomery county south of Germantown, College Park, Beltsville, Hyattsville, Bladensburg,New Carrollton, Columbia, Clarksville, Ellicott City, Elkridge, In Northern Virginia we deliver to Arlington, Vienna, McLean, and the Tysons corner area.
What are your delivery hours? Typically 9-5 weekdays.
Delivery Fees? On all orders less that $100 we charge a flat $20 delivery fee.
When will my order be delivered? When you place your order we ask for delivery date and time. We will always deliver on your delivery date but based upon our delivery schedule may need to adjust your time earlier (sometimes later). NOTE: if we need to make your delivery time later than you requested we will contact you by phone.
Does someone have to be present to accept delivery? Yes. Our products are perishable and cannot be left on a front porch or step. If we attempt delivery and no one is available to receive the delivery we will take your order back to the Dessert Bar in Rockville and it will be available for pickup during normal Dessert Bar hours. If you do miss your first delivery time we can re-schedule your delivery but you will be charged a $20 delivery fee.
Inclement Weather Policy? We reserve the right to postpone delivery due to inclement weather. On days where the Federal Government is shut down or there is more than 3 inches of snow or 1/4 of ice we will postpone delivery to the next available day. On days schools are closed or delayed we may shift delivery windows to ensure the safety of our drivers.
Does CupcakeDropoff.com provide baked goods for special or corporate events? Yes. Our sister company The Shadow Chef can provide all your needs.
Does CupcakeDropoff.com accept donation requests? Yes. All donation requests must be submitted via email. Please include the type of donation you are looking for (gift card, cupcakes, etc) and when you need to receive it. Please email us at info@CupcakeDropoff.com 4-6 weeks before your event date. We will respond to your request in a timely manner.
How can I keep the cupcakes if I’m not serving immediately? We recommend placing the cupcakes in an air tight container and freezing for up to one week. Then defrost for 2-3 hours before serving.
